Park Rapids & Perham students excel at Brookings TaeKwonDo Tournament

Several Park Rapids students from Bretz Association TaeKwonDo competed at the Brookings TaeKwonDo Tournament on Saturday, April 23. Placing at the tournament were Ethan Ridgley (4th forms, silver sparring), Ryan Cook (silver forms, silver sparring), Elliot Cook (4th forms, 4th sparring), Ethan Henderson (5th forms, 5th sparring), Bentley Rautio (silver forms, gold sparring, Viviene Guida (silver forms, bronze sparring), Theo Guida (4th forms, 4th sparring), Will Sanquist (bronze forms, bronze weapons forms, silver sparring), Sophia Ridgley (bronze forms, silver sparring), Lana Haverinen (gold forms, gold sparring) and Tabitha Guida (silver forms, bronze sparring). Master Nick Bretz (instructor) and Randal Guida (assistant instructor) coached the group. The tournament featured more than 270 competitors ranging from beginners to world class black belts from 25 schools.
